East Tennessee State University
Employment began with East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee upon the entry for an undergraduate degree. The school's population during this time approximately was 12,000 students. ETSU is a Southern American Accreditied College the fourth largest school in the State of Tennessee university network system, and recognized in The Princeton Review as one of American's Best Value Colleges.
Assigned employment role begin in August, 1993 as a student worker in the College of Business, Department of Management and Marketing, while completing my undergraduate degree. As a Graduate Student in 1999 for the College of Business for information research the role pertain to the re-accreditation process while being enrolled in graduate elective classes.
The list below outlines the duties and responsibilites performed during employment:
- Student worker responsibilities included but not limited to daily activities of office administration such as the assortment of mail, to answer phones, make copies, process faxes, textbook reorders for professors, and mass mail outs
- Provided clerical support for of 25 professors and trained new staff regarding clerical duties
- Assisted in the provision of support for departmental newsletter mailings of 3,000 recipients
- Secretary for four months in lieu of medical absence and in charge of nine student workers
- Graduate Student Assistance Ship pertained to data management, and analysis in the report formulation of the College of Business’s re-accreditation for the AACSB accreditation
