Career Highlights
Employment in all fields has provided opportunities to perform cross-functional team training into present business designs and data analysis. Proficiencies in many areas of accounting, finance, process management, leading teams, and developing others have been acquired through these various work experiences. Leading others and people development in through the experience of process management have been provided by employment with Marriott International. Multitasking to the core with Kimberly Clark Corporation redefined and provided a need to have constant, flexible strategy formulations to accomplish streamlining objectives during restructuring and reorganization. Customer service and account management contact skills were transformed through my experience with CompUSA. Strong financial analysis and organizational structure enhancements were exemplified through employment with Kirk, Fortner, Smalley, Livesay & Associates, PLLC and Margaret W. Moses, CPA, PC where I served in the role as audit team manager to review financial statement activity for inconsistencies and suggested improvements for greater financial control pre-SOX. Developed finance team for Munsey Memorial United Methodist Church during software application package implementation and provided management suggestions for proper internal controls of financial data records for paperless office initiative. Information research management opportunities were provided at East Tennessee State University – College of Business, Department of Management and Marketing in the fields of student worker and graduate assistant for the re-accreditation of the College of Business. Skills in re-establishing communication with various corporate departments were provided during employment with Electrolux, LLC as sales incentives support staff personnel responsible for distribution of prizes earned.
Having shear passion, at times, may provide the stamina for the true longings of the heart. Other keen interests developed over time in the performing arts has provided another unique set of administrative and financial skills that would contribute to any organization - called teams (or aka, bands). The skills that have been acquired in other additional employment opportunities have enhance the ability to analyze business markets, strategies, and activities in the domestic and global business sector.
